Observation

About their planning for teaching

I can observe that how they plans on how they are going to teach that subject is somehow similar to ours. They are more giving emphasis on the students. On how are they going to interact and how are the students responds to the given treatment.

About their preparing lessons and materials

Their lesson plans and other materials are very specific on what are they want for the students to obtain in the end of the discussion. They usually use the constructionist approach while incorporating the discovery learning method with the discussion and interactive activities.

About their teaching in class

I can clearly see that the teacher has the mastery of the subject. He can be able to deliver the content in many ways. He is able to achieve the expected goals on each day. While the students on the other hand, they are very responsive in their own simple way. I can see that they are able to understand the discussion. During the activities the students are able to make their own understanding based on the given activities. They are able to come up their own meaning and conclusions based on the given examples. The teacher is completely a facilitator during the interactive activity.

About their measurement and evaluation

They are measuring and evaluating the student’s performance through the weekly quizzes and other type of assessment that the teacher will be giving in every end of each topic. In this way they are able to check the current status of the students to where they should be.

My overall impression to the teacher performance

He is very knowledgeable about the topic. He is very crafty and will mannered during discussions. He has the passion to teach and the patience that a teacher must have. He is very keen to the environment/surroundings where he is teaching. He is a good facilitator. And he is good in integrating the topic to other fields and be able to give their connections and relations to each other.
