1. Language barrier

          Language is a  method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and  in a conventional way. As a teacher it would be very hard for us to express our own thought in our own language comfortably since we need to find words that they can understand easily. And also only few of them can really understand English so that is why I really need someone to translate whatever I say during classes. Luckily, my buddy who stands as my translator has a great English speaking skills. He stands as our medium between me and the students so that if the student could not speak in English on what they want to ask, clarify or answer, he will be there to translate it and it goes the same when i am explaining.

          As a Sea teacher participant, language barrier is one of our biggest challenge. In every interactions with your co - student teachers, with the teachers, with the higher ups, to the students and even to the community, language plays a big role and if we can't able to find a solution to that i think maybe on your second or to your following days on your stay in your respective school will be boring and you found yourself unsociable. But as long as you are able to surpass that challenge, you can be able to be friends with everyone. You ca be able to express your self and be able to have a wonderful learning experience.

2. Adjustment to the system

          In my part, I found it their system difficult most specially on the making of their lessons. Their are a lot of things that I need to put into my materials ( Lesson Plan) that i found not useful. Though I am familiar with the methods and approaches that they are using but I still found some problems on it. But overall, i could see the clear path and direction of the students just by looking on the lesson plan that they want me to follow. Everything is very specific which it is good at least we can keep on track of the students achievement.

3. Adjustment to the culture

I found their culture amusing and respectful. Everything has always underlying message and that is all about respect and cheerfulness. They always value respect in every people even though that person is on the same age or not. One friend of mine scold me one time since  that time  I don't know yet that touching or shaking the girl's hand is forbidden because not all girls do it when they introduce themselves. At first I was startled since he did it in very aggressive way but later on I realized it is just the same in our country though some of the men and women do not uphold the same characteristic.
